Anzac Day 2023 - Sydney CBD

Lest We Forget.  Every year it’s an immense privilege to capture the joy and intensity of the Anzac Day Parade in Sydney’s CBD.  Blessed with benign weather, the crowds were out in force to cheer, clap and admire the marchers.   I’ve attached three sets of images - scroll down to see the next set.

When I look at those diggers through my long lens, I see more than just a face.

I see courage, belief, hope, duty, pride, honour and camaraderie tinged with pain, suffering, hardship, horror, sacrifice and loss.

They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old;
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning

We will remember them.
