Australia Votes

Today, the Australian people render judgement following six long weeks of uninspired campaigning.  Rain is forecast and threatening grey skies precede a mild day with little precipitation.  

The latte-sippers of Milsons Point are out in force and plenty of Indy Teal on parade at the polling station.  I decide to wander across the bridge to York Street followed by Millers Point, hoping for a more diverse clientele.  

Here, I shoot my photo of the day.  An elderly gentleman, caressed by diffuse light, urges voters to change direction in the dying hours of the campaign.  

For any of you still wavering, I hope INTEGRITY and the future of our young citizens weighs heavily on your mind when ticking the boxes…  

Australia stands at a critical crossroads.  The choice is starkly simple: To remain a laggard stuck in the past; or to embrace the winds of change and shape a brighter future for our kids.
